Basic overview:

Mechanical assembly of enclosures, brackets, electrical components, and other related materials

Use of wire cutting, stripping and termination machines

Assembly and installation of wiring harnesses per assembly prints and diagrams

Manual wiring of individual components

Labeling and grouping of product literature

Pre-test inspection

Post-test inspection & cleaning

Packaging

Skills/ Qualifications:

Accurate and strong attention to detail

Some form of personal or professional experience in mechanical or technical areas.

Customer Service & Support, Level II -

TEMCo is now hiring for positions in Customer Service & support, Level II. Learn to engineer custom solutions for clients in the industrial electrical field. Solutions will include phase converters, transformers, motors, generators, variable frequency drives, line reactors, etc.
Customers call you; you diagnose their needs and offer solutions. You manage the sales process from the initial call to collecting payment through post sale support.
Innovate ways to increase profitability through decreasing costs, suggesting process changes, or increasing margins and revenues.
Research new products to offer as you identify customer needs to widen TEMCo’s service capabilities and increase profitability.

Skills needed: technical aptitude (if you think mechanically, we will train you), ability to build and cultivate relationships, ability to communicate confidence to customers as you walk them through the sales process, typing ability.

The following skills sets will be a plus:

Sales / customer service
Previous QuickBooks experience
Bilingual
Work with phase converters, transformers, electric motors, generators, variable frequency drives, line reactors, or any type of three phase equipment.

Special Projects Fabricator - Fremont, CA

Basic overview:

Work primarily on one off and low run production machines & parts as well as new product's developmental projects

Perform maintenance and retrofit work on existing and new addition fabrication shop & production floor machinery

Fabrication media includes: Light sheet metal through heavy steel plate (20ga - 1+ inch) & Aluminum. Some other materials (i.e. plastics, stainless etc.) utilized on occasion.

Provide input on machine design and fabrication challenges

Learn about Industrial AC power distribution & control systems

Skills/ Qualifications Required:

Minimum 2 years professional experience with MIG and TIG welding processes

Minimum 1 years experience setting up & operating manual mills and lathes

Experience with plasma cutting systems preferred but not required

Must be comfortable producing parts from oral instructions, hand drawn sketches as well as prints

Must be computer literate

Must have understanding of basic arithmetic

Experience with parts layout

Must be capable of working with little or no supervision

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Basic overview:

Assist Controller with basic accounting procedures
Input invoices
Process Sales Tax reports
Assist in generating Sales Statistical reports

Skills/ Qualifications Required:

Accurate and strong attention to detail
Must type at least 50 WPM.
Minimum 1 year QuickBooks Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in accounting
Experienced in MS Excel, Word and outlook
Extensive experience in computer based book keeping
Experience with producing various reports
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
